SAVING CREATIVE LIVES.

Saving Creative Lives is a hands-on creative technology program designed to inspire and empower middle school students through digital art, music production, game design, and coding. Focused on unlocking imagination and providing real-world skills, the program helps students see new possibilities for their future. Since launching, Saving Creative Lives has impacted over 200 students across the Clarke County Athens area, giving them tools to express themselves, build confidence, and explore career paths in technology and the arts.

Through project-based learning, students are given challenges that require teamwork, planning, and innovation. Whether it’s building a custom game in Roblox Studio or designing a functioning product in a 3D modeling program, each activity encourages critical thinking and decision-making. These are not just fun exercises—they are opportunities for students to learn how to analyze problems, test solutions, and communicate their ideas clearly.

By exploring creative technology in a structured but flexible environment, students begin to see their interests as more than just pastimes. They start to understand how these tools can translate into college-ready skills, freelance opportunities, and even future careers in design, engineering, or computer science. Saving Creative Lives gives students both the inspiration and the technical foundation to imagine new possibilities—and the confidence to pursue them.
